Weekend Box Office Results
This weekend was a peculiar one at the box office. A little movie called “Children Of Men” was released to bigger numbers than expected. Look for word of mouth to grow, as well as box office returns, as award season strolls by. I have heard from readers that “Happily N’ever After” is a load of crap, so the bad debut shown below is no surprise. Will Smith and Ben Stiller continue their strong hold on the country with sugar coated crappy movies in the #1 and #2 spots once again. Thank god for Alfonso Cuaron. And who the hell has been watching “Rocky Balboa”? They apparently thought the cheesy feel of “We Are Marshall” was too much from the looks of it’s exit out of the top ten, ouch.
