Weekend Box Office Results
This weekend there was a lot of wreckage left to the side of the road at the box office. Three movie debuts were once again slaughtered by “Happy Feet” & “Casino Royale”. “Turistas”, “Van Wilder 2″ and “A Nativity Story” flopped, opening with small numbers.
Nothing can stop the “Happy Feet” express as it steams through weekend after weekend. The only visible threat would be “Charlotte’s Web” coming out on Christmas. So look for “Feet” to excel even more until then. The box office is down from last year, when “Harry Potter” ruled the charts! This all makes me more and more excited for “Dreamgirls” with every passing weekend.
