Tim Burton’s “Sweeney Todd” Movie Trailer Kicks Ass!

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is a 2007 film adaptation of the Stephen Sondheim musical of the same name. The film stars Johnny Depp in the title role, in his sixth collaboration with director Tim Burton. The film is scheduled for a nation-wide release on December 21, 2007.

Watching Burton and Depp doing musical horror should be a treat for any goth lover or Burton fan. This movie is sure to liven up the box office this holiday season, I know I will be there on opening night. All the elements of this film seem to work, let’s pray we get a kick ass musical worth multiple viewings!

    wow. wow. WOW WOWOWOWOWOW

    I just saw the stripped down edgier stage musical here in SF and it was fabulous. Worth every penny of the ticket price. I highly recommend it in preparation.

    I’m definitely in line with you for opening night! helloooooo Sweeney Todd!
