“The Ruins” Movie Trailer Is Freaky!

“The Ruins” is an upcoming 2008 horror-thriller film directed by Carter Smith and starring Jena Malone and Joe Anderson. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Scott Smith.

“The Ruins” follows a group of friends who become entangled in a brutal struggle for survival after visiting a remote archaeological dig in the Mexican jungle, where they discover something deadly living among the ruins.

Scott Smith also wrote the book “A Simple Plan” which was adapted for the screen and directed by Sam Raimi starring Billy Bob Thorton. If this film is as smart, tense and thrilling as his first novel/movie adaptation then we are in for a real creepy treat.

    that does look freaky. i really like the main actress too from “Saved”. looks like it would be worth checking out.
