The “Reservation Road” Movie Trailer Is Gripping!

Joaquin Phoenix has been putting out a lot of fantastic movies lately and “Reservation Road” looks like the kind of movie that could garner him the Oscar recognition he deserves after losing for “Walk The Line” and “Gladiator”.

Oscar winner Jennifer Connelly is always great to watch and Mark Ruffalo is on a role after the terrific “Zodiac”. If this movie can bring in the intensity of wonderful dramas like “In The Bedroom” and “The Deep End” it may work on all levels.

    you know, i saw this trailer open for Eastern Promises. And you’re right, it looks like it will be amazing through the acting and dialouge. But shit, this seems like a cut your wrists depressing kind of movie. Not that sad topics shouldn’t be addressed. Blood Diamond was about a horrifying topic, but it brought awareness because of it I took action (i donated).

    For this one, I’m just not sure if I”m willing to subject myself to the sadness.
