The Freaky Fan Pics of Heath Ledger as The Joker in 2008’s “The Dark Knight” Are Scary!
Dude, these pictures really creep me out, big time. The Batman movies have become a force to wach out for. These pictures are genius, complete and utter genius folks. I am told these are fan pics that have been doctored, but who cares? At least we get to see what Heath will possibly look like in the new “Batman” movie coming out next summer.
Gone is the cutesy over the top Joker from the 60’s television show, and of course Jack Nickolson’s perfectly cast role too. Now we get the real joker, the one that haunts your dreams and lives in your nightmares. This will rock hard people, I cannot wait!

That’s not the Joker from the movie. That’s fan made and came out many months before Heath was even cast. That’s actually Conrad Veidt from the old old old film, “The Man Who Laughs” which was an inspiration for the creation of the Joker by Bob Kane. Theres your fanboy history lesson for the day.

There’s some dispute over if that’s true or not. What I heard was that Jerry Robinson, who was working as an art assistant at the time, came up with the concept of the Joker based on a playing card and Bob Kane took the credit for it. When he brought in his concept drawing to work, Bill Finger (the writer) said it reminded him of Conrad Veidt from The Man Who Laughs.
