I am currently reading the Persepolis grpahic novels for a second time. I forgot how witty and subtle this book series is. The crisp black and white animation in this movie trailer has me pumped to see this big screen adapatation that won awards at Cannes earlier this year. This film could win big at the Oscar’s this year, and rightfully so. The material and feel of this book and film is sure to captivate audiences.
