Steve Carell In “Evan Almighty”

"Bruce Almighty" w/ Jim Carey

I was not a huge fan of the first movie “Bruce Almighty” starring Jim Carey and Jennifer Aniston. I liked a few parts but was a bit tired of Jim Carey’s shtick when it came out. The stand out scene in the movie was from with the pre- “40 Year Old Virgin” hit maker Steve Carell. His role and this trailer have me looking forward to this comedy.

“Evan Almight” doesn’t look like it will win any awards anytime soon, but it looks like it’ll be just plain silly fun. It already looks to be a huge hit next summer, this trailer has all the right things to make it a winner. I love the Noah’s Arc angle of this film. By the looks of this trailer there is some real potential to lose your shit with laughter in the theater, and I am curious to see if I will.
