My Top Ten Most Anticipated Movies of Winter!
“MARIE ANTOINETTE” OCTOBER 20TH
I have high hopes for this movie. Please, please be great!

“DREAMGIRLS” DECEMBER 15TH
Jennifer Hudson may win an Oscar nomination. Not bad for someone who was pre-maturely bumped from American Idol season 3. I love a good gay ass musical!

“BORAT” NOVEMBER 3RD
I have said it before, this will be huge. I love Ali G, so this will be side splittingly funny!

“HAPPY FEET” NOVEMBER 17TH
This looks like it will be HUGE. The voice work and animation are spot on!

“THE FOUNTAIN” NOVEMBER 22ND
After “Requiem For A Dream” & “Pi” Darren Aronofsky has a lot of people anticipating this movie big time. His style is so unique and a “fantasy” film by him sounds exciting.

“TENACIOUS D & THE PICK OF DESTINY” NOVEMBER 17TH
Jack Black is on a roll. This movie trailer looks so funny, a mix between “Waynes World” and “Bill & Teds Excellent Adventure”. Plus, we get Jack Black songs.

“FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION” NOVEMBER 17TH
Every Christopher Guest movie up until now is a classic comedy gem. This is my kind of material to send up, Hollywood! Will the cast get some long delayed Oscar nods? Hope so!
“CHILDREN OF MEN” DECEMBER 25TH
Clive Owen and Julianne Moore in a futuristic thriller by Alfonso Cuaron should be sleek and edgy. He did a bang up job with Harry Potter, he may just wow us with his idea of the future plight of man.

“RUNNING WITH SCISSORS” OCTOBER 20TH
Alec Baldwin, Annette Benning, Gwyneth Paltrow and an all star cast make this dysfuntional family black comedy look twisted and hilarious.

“PANS LABYRINTH” DECEMBER 29TH
Guillermo Del Toro’s new movie is part fantasy, part horror. I am excited to see his imagery and this new world he has created. This should be weird to say the least.

Borat seems to have the most buzz for sure!

I can confirm that Borat and For Your Consideration are well worth the anticipation. You will likely be in pain from laughing so much. And you might feel a little dirty, but in a good way.
Sooooo can’t wait for the Tenacious D movie, Pan’s Labyrinth, Marie Antionette, The Fountain. All artists who I love dearly putting out new work at once. Heaven! They all look totally amazing in very different ways. And thanks for pointing out the new Cuaron film, somehow I hadn’t been aware of it. Cuaron and Clive Owen and Julianne Moore? Hot damn! (although I am surprised you chose to mention Harry Potter over Y Tu Mama Tambien).
