My Most Anticipated Summer Movies of 2007
1.) Transformers:
My favorite toys growing up have been given a kick ass modern update by Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg!
2.) The Simpsons:
The best T.V. cartoon ever finally comes to the big screen with a PG-13 rating and a supposed nude scene by Bart.
3.) Halloween:
Rob Zombie re-makes the original scream classic. This will be grousome and gory beyond belief.
4.) Ratatouille:
Pixar is at it again, this time with an original story by Brad Bird the magician behind “The Iron Giant” and “The Incredibles”.
5.) 28 Weeks Later:
The sequel to the zombie masteriece “28 Days Later” looks like a perfect follow up for a proposed zombie franchise.
6.) Hairspray:
The stage musical gets the big screen adaptation. Let’s hope Travolta does Divine proud.
7.) Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix:
The “Harry Potter” movie series only gets better and better. This time around someone dies!
8.) Hostel 2:
The sequel to the first gory masterpiece “Hostel” is getting the summer treatment, get ready to be sickened!
9.) Shrek 3:
“Shrek” has become that fun summertime franchise that always delivers on the laughs and great inside pop culture jokes.
10.) Spiderman 3:
This will be the best Spiderman of them all, just you wait and see! It will break every box office record ever made.
11.) Evan Almighty:
I only “liked” the first film “Bruce Almighty” with Jim Carey. I have a feeling I will love this sequel starring Steve Carrell.
12.) Knocked Up:
Here’s the follow up from the writer/director of “The 40 Year Old Virgin”. I’m going to pee myself with laughter, I can already tell.
13.) Hot Rod:
Andy Samberg from SNL wrote and stars in this farce. I am very intrigued to see how funny this wil be. It could be a sleeper hit.
14.) The Bourne Ultimatum:
This franchise is flawless, Matt Damon can do no wrong. I am betting that this will beat the tired action of “Die Hard 4″ at the box office.
15.) Bug:
This movie looks creepy and gross, and I love every minute of the trailer. Ashley Judd may finally put out a good movie for a change.
