Goodbye, Anna Nicole Smith
I am not sure why this made me so sad when I heard this news today. Anna Nicole Smith has always been a strong supporter of the gay community and has a huge following of fans. In the end though people either loved her or hated her. Her contribution to pop culture shouldn’t be forgotten. Her t.v. show was a rating bonanza for the E! channel and her early Guess jeans ads were a landmark for plus size models. I’m not a huge fan but this news is just sad as hell.

Yeah, her death makes me feel a little sad too. Only because, I think, she seems to be a victim of her burning desire to be famous and most of all to be loved. A desire that we all have I suppose, but I guess it doesn’t consume all of us in quite the same tragic way. RIP Anna Nicole, I’m sorry you died so young.
