Jeremy Piven is NOT dating “America’s Next Top Model” runner-up Melrose Bickerstaff, even though reports had them “canoodling” at a Golden Globes after-party. But still what a funny couple! Piven is a notorious playboy and is rumored to be much like his “Entourage” character in the ego department. The photo below seems to be all the proof I need for it to be true enough for me to post a blog entry about it.

If any of you watched the most recent cycle of “Americas Next Top Model” you remember what a pill Melrose is (her real name is Melanie Rose, ewww). So this may be a perfect match, for the moment. Lord knows that relationships in Hollywood have a shelf life of at least 3-5 years. It looks like Tyra is a stepping stone for bigger and some what better things if you count sleeping with a celebrity a step up.

Damn all sentimental endings of reality shows! Especially the family friendly sweet as pie “Amazing Race”. This season is unlike any other season in the past few years. All of the drama, back stabbing and hateful contestants have been replaced by relatable honest real people.

The real reason why I watched this show was the relationship between the teams called “the six pack”. Made up of two black moms, two asian brothers and a southern married couple called “the coal miners”. The “coal miners” were not the last to show up, but due to a new rule, they didn’t have time on their side. Their exiting words moved me, yes I said moved me. I actually had tears swelling up….check it out for yourself below.

Word that the NBC show “30 Rock” is in danger has already started. This show is one of the few remaining true television comedies. Like “Arrested Developement” this show uses true wit and intelligent writing instead of laugh tracks and old recycled jokes.

Tina Fey has found her true calling, her comedic timing is top notch. The writing is so sharp and fresh I look forward to watching this show every week. How can “Two And Half Men” stay on the air and have a huge audience when “30 Rock” delivers original material that is refreshingly adult. Let’s hope this show will pick up some steam and people will catch on.

Famous nobody/reality show loser Elisabeth Hasselbeck tried to look cool today on “The View” when a discussion about John Kerry’s remarks regarding the troops came up. Elisabeth proceeded to call Sen. John Kerry, “Mel Gibson without the booze” slamming his flip-flops, Elisabeth then defended President Bush for his “higher IQ” and “better grades” than those that Kerry received while the two were at Yale. Joy Behar was having none of it as she jumped in to correct her. It was another predictable and ignorant response from the usually droll Hasselbeck. With Star Jones gone, Elisabeth has taken the title of the one and only “douchebag” on “The View”. I get the “different ladies, different views” theme, but why did they have to bring in a reality show contestant? I am being petty, but she bugs…big time.

As you may or may not know, Elisabeth is the token right wing Republican on the show. I am still unsure how she can relate a racist, alcoholic, spoiled Hollywood actor/director to Kerry just because he is against the war. She really didn’t have anything intelligent to say about his comment, instead she came off as a “Bush groupie”. Her narrow minded attitude and the ridiculous reasoning behind her opinion was aggravating. I wanted to reach through my t.v. and shake her. I mean, did she really compare Bush’s I.Q. to Kerry’s? It came off as a childish reaction and exposed her as the fake t.v. personality she truly is.

But once again, without skipping a beat, the shows savior Rosie O’Donnell changed the subject by singing a Barbara Streisand song. I hate Babs, but I love Rosie’s grounded personality. If it wasn’t for her, this show would be in big trouble! And what was Barbara Walters doing while this went on? She put her head down in exasperation, homegirl is way too old for this drama.

“The View” has come a long way in its 10 years on the air. I could not watch the show when Star Jones was a host because she used to come off more smug and icy than Elisabeth. The ladies of “The View” have finally found their rhythm and it is a much better show now that Star Jones is gone. When dramatic moments happen like this one did today, you get the feeling that even when they disagree they actually do get along. That is something that obviously never happened with Star Jones in the cast, her abrubt exit is proof of that. I hope this show wins the Emmy this year, it has been nominated before but has never won! Not just because it deserves it, but because you know it would piss off Star Jones!

The show that is possibly getting the boot? “Studio 60″, by Aaron Sorkin. I do not care for Aaron Sorkin t.v. shows. I am not a big fan of his frantic, busy, fast paced filming or sporadic dialogue. The rumors are that there is only 3-4 more episodes left. This news does not bode well for NBC, who is suffering from bad programming choices and failed shows.

I personally think the show gives too many details away, and the subject matter (a “backstage” peek at an “SNL like” show is unbelievable. This premise wears thin as the viewer is constantly thrown obscure industry jokes, quick camera moves and a too detailed intimate look at a comedy variety show and its actors.

Last week, “Studio 60″ had 7.7 million viewers. Compare that with competing “CSI: Miami”, with 17.5 million. This may be due to the competition or the night it was scheduled to air, either way NBC is in trouble! If you are a fan of this show, enjoy it while you can.

I think the South Park creators have always pushed the limits of taste and what is funny, and most of the time it is with funny scathing results. I watched the “Hell On Earth 2006″ episode of South Park last night. It was one of the funniest episodes in a long time. The whole bit about guys showing up at Halloween parties dressed as “The Crow” just get action was hilarious!

Below I have attached a picture of the shocking, offensive image. I thought the bit was funny and loved the current nature of the joke. I mean c’mon, there is a sting ray hanging out of his chest!

The powers of make up and camera trickery have worked their magic to help Tara Reid look respectable on today’s “The View”. But her slow drawl and demeanor were still sloppy and unprofessional. She sounds like she is smoking a pack of cigarettes a day. I understand she was butchered by a bad plastic surgeon, but the vapid, shallow lifestyle she portrays on E! and in the press is indicative of these problems.

I didn’t buy this appearance, although I give points to her publicist for spinning this into a sympathy piece. She couldn’t articulate herself or express a clear thought. She was on some sort of downers or she needed a nap. She jumped on every band wagon she could to look like she knew what she was talking about, but made herself look dumb. Either way this was a bizarre guest host with a non sympathetic story. BORING! Why does she deserve to be a celebrity, I forget?!

I was looking forward to the Madonna interview on Oprah. As a huge Madonna fan I wanted to hear about the adoption from the Madge’s mouth. First let down? The interview was via satellite. That is a pretty shitty trick, I assumed we would get Madonna in the studio, so the interview came off a bit cold.

Secondly, Madonna was OBVIOUSLY reading a script. Her acting was more obvious and just as bad as her movies. She had a lot of beautiful, real things to say about her family, her love for their new child “David” and the process of adoption. All of these things I appreciated as a fan. But the cold nature of Oprah’s questions and the set up of the interview were down right ghetto.

This was a platform where Madonna could set the record straight, and she did. She also spoke about the hardships of adoption and the how the process is corrupt and not beneficial to the children. At this point I am on Madonna’s side. This was not a publicity stunt, and Madonna handled it with class.

So I have been asked to feature this Chelsea Handler video from You Tube by readers, and after a viewing it I am ashamed I haven’t got into this show yet. Well now I am a fan.

This comedy is right up my alley, dry, sarcastic and mean. It is hilarious! I love the premise and think she is a funny hot bitch! I mean, “Kid’s Blind Date”!!??? Genius! And the Madonna bit is side splitting, just watch it below! I will definitely be reporting more on Chelsea on this blog in the future, you can bet that!

Looks like the gay community has another out friend in Hollywood. The #1 show in America is “Grey’s Anatomy” and the hot boy factor is insane. I don’t watch the show, but like to know who is out and about in Hollywood.

I read the recent article in People magazine where actor T.R. Knight, who plays Dr. George on the show, came out. I personally think he is hot and he’s got some big balls to come out considering his show is such a hit. Check out the pics that are all over the net below!

Some of you may be asking, “what the hell is Squidbillies”? Out of all the crazy nasty cartoons out there, this one is the most under rated. It has a sloppy animation style, but writing that is insane and very funny.

I love the theme song and supporting characters; the sherrif, Granny and Rusty’s mom who lives on a matress in a junk yard. The background art is actually pretty and looks like modern art with a cartoon spin, seriously they are gorgeous.

“Squidbillies” is about Earlie Cuyler and his recently reunited son Rusty. There really isn’t much of a back story or reasoning to the show other than making fun of rednecks and country folk. Which is fine with me because I love a great crystal meth or incest joke. Just kidding….kinda. In every episode Earlie’s hat changes. My personal favorite hat saying,, “Breathe If You’re Horny”. CLASSIC!

This show isn’t as popular and subversive as “Drawn Together” or “South Park”, but it has an originality to it that is refreshing despite the wacky, wiggly drawings. I don’t know if Comedy Central is bringing this show back to their Adult Swim line up, which would be a shame if they do not, because this is a fun and naughty show.

How did Jeffrey win? I am in complete shock! Uli was clearly the leader of the pack, and for some reason Jeffrey won. I do not know what they saw in Jeffrey’s collection. It was all over the map, with no cohesiveness.

Uli surprised us all with a relatable collection that is ready for the nearest mall in any town in the USA. The fact that people were askign Uli where they could buy her cloths is a clear sign she was a better match for Elle. Her bone buckles were gorgeous. And for once Uli showed us she was more than just prints.

Laura went the old lady coktail dress route, which is fine, but she got 3rd place. Michael did exactly what I thought, he went “Dynasty Ghetto” with his collection. Gold??? Big belts? Big purses? And would someone tell me if he is gay or not? And is he really dating Brandy?

Despite all the cheating drama Jeffrey won. I did like his green striped zipper dress, but that is really it. One of his gowns looked like an Uli dress. I wish Uli would have won. Besides, she seems way cooler and a super nice. I just think Jeffrey is a turd. He shouldn’t have won.

Who will win? Will Jeffrey get caught for cheating? Will Laura commit homicide caused by her raging hormones and bitchy behavior? Will Michael drop the ball and lose with his “Dynasty” collection? Will Uli make a dress with a print on it? Will Tim continue to talk like a mix between Thurston Howell III and Charles Nelson Reilly?

Tonight is the final episode of season 4 and I am stoked! I hope Bravo doesn’t make us wait another 6 months for another season of this show! It has to be the best “reality show” on TV. It gives its contestants a chance to show creativity and actually make something to prove their worthiness. No eating bugs! But there is the gay drama, cat fights, and evil characters that make up great reality television.

Tim Gunn said it once, “If Project Runway has anything, it has its integrity!”. The list of guest judges is a who’s who of fashion names, magazine editors and high society celebs. It has some real, respected clout.

My prediction on who will win:

1st - Laura
2nd - Uli
3rd - Jeffrey
4th - Michael

Metro sexual? Gay? Or just over doing it?

I am all for the beautifying of hot people, but will someone tell Joey Lawrence to stop with all the manicuring? Waxed chest, plucked eyebrows, shaved head, tanning, make up etc etc. Joey could be so hot, if he would just tone it down a bit more.

Oh yeah, Joey stop trying to fuck the audience with your eyes. We get it, you want to win, but please stop with the over dramatic facial expressions and cheesy grins! Your pointy toes and jazz hands also scream “nelly queen”, but that is just my opinion.

And for the record, Mario will win.

My friends and I have an ongoing joke, Tyra Banks is the black Oprah. And we designed a drinking game to prove it! She can go from proper english to ghetto in 2 seconds flat!
