The Sci-Fi T.V. Channel Made for T.V. Movie “Tin Man” Looks Bizarre

Tuesday, November 13th, 2007

tm.jpg

“Tin Man” debuts on the Sci-Fi channel on December 2nd, 2007. For those of you not familiar with the channel they have been making cheesy made for t.v. movies for a while. They have one good quality t.v. show that I know of, “Battlestar Galactica”. But this project, based on the books “The Wizard of Oz”, actually has some promising things going for it.

Even though “Tin Man” looks strange and creepy, I kind of like it. I am curious to see how the Sci-Fi channel pulls this movie off just by looking at the pictures of the cast from the film. “Tin Man” even has an A-list cast with Richard Dreyfuss, Zooey Daschenel and Alan Cumming. Check out the bizarre movie trailer below:

Celebrity Meltdown: John Stamos

Thursday, June 28th, 2007

Check out this bizarre clip of John Stamos on Australian t.v. He appears to be either drunk or high on something. There is something wickedly fascinating about watching people break down in public. You got to hand it to Stamos though, he looks hot as hell.

Goldfrapp On Showtime’s “The L Word”

Wednesday, March 14th, 2007

I don’t watch this show, heck I don’t even have SHOWTIME. But I love Goldfrapp more than I love pussy. Yes, I said it. Isn’t it kind of appropriate anyway? We are talking about the hit lesbian t.v. cable drama “The L Word”. I never liked SHOWTIME’s other gay themed show “Queer As Folk” because it was too annoying and contrived. I tend to not follow the gay club scene in real llife and that show was pretty pretentious and kind of unreal. I have posted this clip because Goldfrapp rocks and they hardly ever do televised performances. I have seen Goldfrapp twice now and I loved every minute of their live show. Check out the fabulous “Ride A White Horse” clip below.

Janice Dickenson Models

Wednesday, March 14th, 2007

Besides VH1’s “I Love New York” and OXYGEN’s “Bad Girls Club” Janice Dickenson has the best guilty pleasure show on t.v. It has the best eye candy and some would even call it “soft core” gay porn. Here is a montage found on YouTube with a sampling of Janice’s new models on her t.v. show “Janice Dickenson Model Agency”. In my opinion her show is better and more real than Tyra’s tired ass “America’s Next Top Model” series. You may recognize J.P. from “Survivor”, he is currently Janice’s hottest model. The show borders on cringe inducing drama, but always delivers the half naked goods. Check out Janice’s show OXYGEN if you get a chance, you may get addicted like I did.

Madonna’s European H&M Commercial

Thursday, March 8th, 2007

H&M is the European version of Old Navy, but maybe a little better…but not by much. Their clothes are cute, but do not stand up to many washes and wearings. So it strikes me as odd that Madonna would be doing commercials and designing clothes for the company. But, I have to admit her line is fierce and it is kind of cool she is doing something the fans can actually buy. This commercial is hilarious and I love Madonna’s “tongue in cheak” attitude, she rocks whatever she does 100%…..that’s my girl!

T.V. Review: Katt Williams HBO Comedy Special

Sunday, February 18th, 2007

GRADE: A+

Right now on HBO you can catch a brilliant new stand up special by Katt Williams, the comedic pimp. At first I had no idea what to expect from a guy who is the stand up version of Snoop Dogg (who appears in this special as well). Apparently the buzz on this genius stand up comedian is growing as obvious by the scattered famous faces in the audience (Outkast’s Andre 3000 for example).

Words cannot describe how smart and smooth William’s delivery and comedic pacing are. His topical and fresh look at today’s culture is refreshing. I especially loved Katt’s bit on Michael Jackson. Finally someone in the African American community is speaking candidly about this wacko. William’s has impressed me with his open minded views and silly punchlines with an urban flair. I love his personal views/beliefs which are VERY similar to that of Chris Rock’s. Keep your eye on this smart and edgy guy if you know what is good for your pop culture sensibilities.

Video Footage: Britney Shaves Her Head

Saturday, February 17th, 2007

Some web sites are showing pictures of the recent Britney travesty that is unfolding before our eyes. Britney is spiraling out of control in the public eye. Where are her two kids during these bizarre diplays of Angelina-esque behavior. Below I have posted the local news footage from Sherman Oaks, California. We can see clearly that Britney is losing her mind, her eyes are vaccant and her look has become increasingly dark. I am scared to see what will happen next in the circus side show/train wreck that we call Brintey Spears.

Chris Martin Of Coldplay On “Extras”

Wednesday, January 31st, 2007

I love “Extras” it is one of my favorite shows on t.v. at the moment. I love how celebrities make fun of their own famous persona in this HBO sitcom. I also love that there is no laugh track on this show. I have posted an article from Rolling Stone about the “Extras” episode and about the apparent real version of their “Greatest Hits” c.d. that is being made. I actually agree with the Rolling Stone that Coldplay do not warrant such a collection this early in their careers.

HERE IS THE CLIP FROM “EXTRAS”:

HERE IS THE ARTICLE:

Considering our love for the above clip — in which Chris Martin shamelessly promotes a fake “Best of Coldplay — you can imagine our surprise when today, news arrived that that Coldplay will in fact be releasing something called The Singles 1999-2006, a collection that gathers the band’s well-known singles, B-sides, and their debut EP The Blue Room. To make matters more confusing, this set will be released ONLY on 7″ vinyl. We assumed this kind of move was reserved for much-cooler indie bands. Evidently, working with Brian Eno has put high-brow ideas in Chris Martin’s head. We may be wrong, but do any Coldplay fans even own a record player? Doubtful.

So before you go rummaging through your parents’ attic looking for one of these contraptions, we ask another question: Is it appropriate for Coldplay, with only three albums under their belt, to be releasing a “Best-Of? It was only seven years ago that we thought their debut hit “Yellow was the new single by fellow fragile U.K. rockers Travis. Bands like Radiohead and the White Stripes, who have larger catalogues, have held off releasing greatest hits compilations. Is it too little, too soon for a Coldplay collection? Or are you pumped?

The “Grey’s Anatomy” Drama

Monday, January 22nd, 2007

Here is a multi-clip montage of the whole “Grey’s Anatomy” cast drama. First off Isaiah Washington is a douche bag for even trying to lie, let alone for calling a gay man a “faggot”. Does anyone else think that it is odd that in this wacky age of racist celebrities that a African American actor saying these things is pretty lame? It is a shame that the whole thing went down at all, but I am glad it all happened on camera! Check out the drama yourself. Thank god for Katherine Heigl and Ellen they are the best!

Angelina Jolie On The Red Carpet

Monday, January 22nd, 2007

I do not like Angelina Jolie at all, there I said it. This clip of her on the red carpet says a whole lot about her fake personality. I get it Angelina, you are at the Globes to support Brad and you don’t talk about your private life. But come on girl, just a few years ago you were making out with your brother and wearing Billy Bob’s blood around your neck. And honey, we can still see that hideous tattoo under all of that make up. Besides managing to never put out a single decent film, she has some how become a major star. Her attitude and recent decision to play Daniel Pearl’s wife who is half black is outrageous if not just out right lame. And no one, I mean no one talks shit about Madonna and gets away with it. The backlash has started already, look for 2007 to be pretty anti-Jolie and Pitt in Hollywood.

The “Scrubs” Musical Episode Rocks!

Friday, January 19th, 2007

Last night NBC aired the best episode of their hit show “Scrubs” ever. The plot surrounded a patient who heard people singing as if they were in a musical, so the doctors do a bunch of tests to figure out what is wrong. This premise is so inventive and made for a pleasant and sweet episode. The songs seemed as if they were plucked right off of Broadway, the lyrics and musical arrangements were fabulous! Here is a clip from that episode with Turk and J.D. singing “Guy Love”. This is so funny you may want to make sure no one is arround to hear you snort when you laugh. You have been warned.

T.V. Show Review - “The Soup”

Monday, January 15th, 2007

GRADE: A

This show is genius, it is a pure pop confection for any pop whore with a sweet tooth. If you watch endless t.v. and have too much pop culture information than this show is for you. You can catch up on the realit t.v. you missed or watch the worst clips on cable all in one half hour show. The host of “The Soup” Joel McHale is a cute little dork, but really he is the perfect host with the perfect amount of sarcasm and charm to pull off this silly gay show. But in a world of artsy adult fair, “The Soup” rises above all the pretentious fluff on network t.v. This show is like a copy of Entertainment Weekly and the news on Saturday Night Live, it is that sharp. Check it out!

Madonna On David Letterman

Monday, January 15th, 2007

Here is the most recent appearance Madonna gave to David Letterman, and this time I actually think she pulled off a great interview. Both Dave and Madge have great chemistry with eachother. Madonna looks like she is sincere and relaxed. The questions are pretty pointed and she is candid. I think this is one of Madonna’s best T.V. guest spots in a long time. It is good to see her still doing well in the middle of a promotion machine, even if it is for her most recent movie flop “Arthur & The Invisibles”.

Paula Abdul F***ed Up On T.V.!

Saturday, January 13th, 2007

Dude is Paula Abdul handicapped? No really, does she suffer from a disorder we do not know of? This footage is so bad, I can’t help but laugh. I would love a handful of whatever she is taking with a nice bottle of wine this Tuesday when the new season of American Idol debuts. Dude Paula is a train wreck in this interview, even the anchors are trying not to laugh. And did she really just say “there is no such thing as bad publicity”? Man will she be eating those words! And what the hell is this “Bratz” doll movie she is making? Gross!
