ALEXA DAVALOS

Alexa’s first big screen role was in the Vin Diesel film flop called “The Chronicles of Riddick” which was a sequel to “Pitch Black”. After her breakthrough in this past fall’s terrifying “The Mist”, Alexa will next be starring in “Defiance” (2008).

Davalos also appeared as the mutant Gwen Raiden in three episodes of the TV show “Angel” and in 2005 co-starred in the Fox show “Reunion”. In 2003, Davalos was also seen opposite Antonio Banderas in the HBO original film “And Starring Pancho Villa as Himself”.

ISLA FISHER

Isla Fisher has been on a roll lately with a resume that is filled with comedic roles in “Scooby Doo”, “The Wedding Crashers” and “Hot Rod”. In 2008 she will star in “Horton Hears A Who”, “Definately, Maybe”, “Confessions of a Shopaholic” and “Groupies”.

Fisher resides in Los Angeles, California, as well as in London, with her fiancé, English comedian Sacha Baron Cohen. She reportedly has converted to Judaism in advance of her marriage to Cohen, who is Jewish. The famous pair just recently gave birth to a daughter named “Olive”.

MEGAN FOX

Megan’s breakthrough role was in the Lindsay Lohan teenage comedy “Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen”, but her first big role was in this past summer’s blockbuster film “The Transformers”. In 2008 Fox can be seen in “How to Lose Friends & Alienate People”.

Megan has 6 tattoo’s on her body, one of which is of Marily Monroe. In 2007 Fox became engaged to actor Brian Austin Green from the hit 90’s teenage dramatic television show “Bevery Hills 90210″.

VANESSA FERLITO

Vanessa’s break out acting role was in this year’s best film (in my opinion) Quentin Taratino’s female empowerment flick “Death Proof”. Vanessa Ferlito has also had a bit part in this past summer’s mega-hit “Spider-Man 3″.

Vanessa Ferlito is mostly known for her role as Detective Aiden Burn on the CBS crime drama “CSI: New York”. Ferlito is currently pregnant with her first child. She is also a vegetarian, supporter of animal rights, and an active member of PETA.

GABRIELLE UNION

Gabrielle Union is the star of such hits like “Bring It On”, “The Perfect Holiday”, “Daddy’s Little Girls” and “Running with Scissors”. In 2008 she will co-star in the sci-fi family comedy called “Starship Dave” starring Eddie Murphy.

In May 2001, Union married NFL player Chris Howard of the Jacksonville Jaguars. In November of 2005, the couple separated and their divorce was eventually finalized in 2006.

RYAN REYNOLDS

Ryan Reynolds has become quite the leading man in films like “Van Wilder”, “The Nines”, “Smokin’ Aces” and “Just Friends”. In 2008 we can look forward to “Adventureland”, “Fireflies in the Garden” and “Definitely, Maybe”.

From 2002 to 2007, Reynolds was romantically linked to Alanis Morissette and at one time they were engaged, but the relationship ended in early 2007. He is currently dating Scarlett Johansson making them one of the hottest couples in Hollywood.

MILO VENTIMIGLIA

Milo Ventimiglia’s career is on a hot streak after finishing two seasons of the highly rated television series “Heroes” for NBC (with more on the way). After co-starring in the mild hit “Rocky Balboa”, Milo will star in 2008’s “Pathology”.

In mid-2007 Milo starred as the love interest of pop singer Fergie in the music video for her single “Big Girls Don’t Cry”. Milo also once starred on “The Gilmore Girls” and he and fellow former co-star Alexis Bledel dated for three years, the relationship ended in 2006.

JAMES MARSDEN

James Marsden is on a roll with the Hollywood hits “X-Men 3″ as Cyclops, “Hairspray” as Corny Collins and in “Enchanted” as Prince Edward. We can look forward to seeing his dashing good looks in 2008’s “The Box” and “27 Dresses”.

Marsden lost out to Edward Norton for a role in ‘Primal Fear” (which garnered Norton his first Oscar nomination) and he also turned down the lead role in “54″ which later went to Ryan Phillippe.

ZAC EFRON

Zac Efron is the current teen king of the Hollywood heart throbs. After starring in the mega-hit “Hairspray” he will release “High School Musical 3″ and another film “Seventeen” in 2008.

Even though it is widely rumored in Hollywood that Efron is gay, he is currently involved in a relationship with his “High School Musical” and “High School Musical 2″ co-star Vanessa Anne Hudgens.

JUSTIN CHATWIN

Justin Chatwin got his big break in Steven Spielberg’s Sci-Fi summer blockbuster “War of the Worlds” playing Tom Cruise’s rebellious son. He recently starred in one of 2007’s worst films “The Invisible”.

Justin Chatwin also played the gay son of Kevin Nealon’s character on the Showtime comedy series “Weeds”. this year Chatwin was cast as Goku in 20th Century Fox’s live action film based on the Japanese hit cartoon “Dragon Ball Z” called “Dragon Ball”.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was photographed outside of Golds Gym in L.A. this week by paparazzi and by the looks of this pic, “The Rock” is at the top of his game. “The Rock” can be seen in the upcoming “Get Smart” movie released in Spring of 2008, then he will be starring in a Disney re-make of “Witch Mountain” and then the big screen adaptation of “Shazam!” in 2009.

All three of these films are sure to be huge hits in 2008, I for one am very excited to see all three of these movies. Heath Ledger is shaping up to be a great Joker. He has the look of the character down. The pic of “Iron Man” below is obviously not Robert Downey Jr., but the star will be playing the role of the superhero in the comic book blockbuster next summer.

Lastly, I am excited to see that Harrison Ford doesn’t look completely geriatric in this pic with him and Shia Labouf in next years highly anticipated “Indy” movie. The next “Indiana Jones” film already looks like it will break box office records and turn a new generation onto the franchise. Enjoy the pics from these three films below!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Imagi Animation Studios (who did the most recent animated “TMNT” movie) announced that the “Astro Boy” movie will be set for release in 2009. This could be a huge hit for the new studio, “Astro Boy” has the cool factor written all over it! The movie is based on the long running hit Japanese cartoon of the same name (pictured below).

This is how the plot of “Astro Boy” will go: When a scientist’s son dies, he secretly creates an extremely powerful robot son who becomes the world’s biggest superhero, and his abilities are tested when an alien race threatens Earth. Pretty cool huh?

At the sake of coming off as a creepy gay guy, I am posting this picture for all of you to enjoy. This is a “candid” shot of the 19 year old Effron bathing in the Hawaiin surf this past summer.

His publicist is one smart cookie for “allowing” this picture to be taken and splattered all over the net. This is great publicty for the already HUGE star. Just for the record, I have not seen the “High School Musical” movies, I’m not that creepy.

Valkyrie is the official working title for an upcoming film currently in production that will be directed by Bryan Singer and will star Tom Cruise, Kenneth Branagh, Eddie Izzard, Tom Wilkinson, Bill Nighy and Terrence Stamp. The film is based on the July Plot of German officials to assassinate Hitler. See the cast photo below:

In June 2007, prior to production, Germany’s Defense Ministry spokesperson Harald Kammerbauer said that filming of Valkyrie would not be allowed to take place on the country’s military sites if the protagonist Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg was portrayed by Tom Cruise, a follower of Scientology, considered a masquerade of religion by Germany. Kammerbauer also said that the ministry had not received official filming requests from the film’s producers. Later in the month, the ministry reneged its stance and welcomed production of Valkyrie.

I have high hopes for this film, even if it stars douche bag supreme Tom Cruise. The cast is remarkable and the plot is suspenseful and action packed. This is the same formula that helped “The Bourned Ultimatum” when it was released around the same time this summer.

If you have not heard of this stage to screen adaptation by goth master Tim Burton, then you are in for a treat. The musical is experiencing another golden age with recent outings like “Chicago”, “Hairspray” and “Dreamgirls”. This movie looks like a great mix of two of my favorite film genres; horror and the musical.

Apparently Warner Brothers is aiming for a PG-13 rating for their film, and after viewing some bloody footage from the movie, executives handed down the edict to trim some of Sweeney’s more graphic murder scenes. I like the idea of an “R” rated horror musical, but will it be a success? I am torn, which would you rather go see? An “R” rated or “PG-13″ rated “Sweeney Todd” by Tim Burton?

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is an upcoming film adaptation of the Stephen Sondheim musical. Tim Burton directs the film, from John Logan’s screenplay. Johnny Depp plays the vengeful, murderous barber Sweeney Todd. The film is scheduled for a limited release on December 21, 2007, with a nation–wide release scheduled for December 25, 2007.

Sweeney Todd (Johnny Depp) returns to London after having escaped a wrongful imprisonment, only to find finding that his wife and child have suffered at the hands of Judge Turpin (Alan Rickman), the very man who imprisoned him. With the help of his former landlady, Mrs. Lovett (Helena Bonham Carter), Sweeney Todd launches a plan for vengeance that initially targets the individuals responsible for his misfortunes, but ultimately draws all society in his sights.

Not less than 6 months after their divorce was finalized Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown were spotted by TMZ.com and paparazzi coming out of a southern style barbecue restaurant looking baked out of their minds.

Of course this is all assumed, but is it me or do their eyes look especially puffy or what? These two are a glutton for punishment and deserve to be with each other. And just when everyone thought Whitney was on the right track, guess we were wrong!

Check out this cool action shot of Heath Ledger in the “Batman Begins” sequel called “The Dark Knight” coming out next summer. I love that The Joker is being played by a young, cool Hollywood actor. This franchise has once again become super cool. I mean, who didn’t love the most recent film “Batman Begins” with Christian Bale?

When will these young Hollywood partiers ever realize all they need to do is rent a driver for the night and all of their problems will go away?

Lindsay Lohan just sunk her career for good last night as she was arrested for another DUI and while at the jail, the cops found cocaine on her body.

Why is she is so intent on ruining her career and making herself unemployable? I would say this whole mess is sad, but I don’t really care if she is able to make another movie in Hollywood again. What has she done so far that is so great? I think she is done in Hollywood for good!

David and Victoria Beckham are set to take on America to become America’s next “it-couple, move over Brangelina! Personally I think these two are much more hotter than them two. Don’t agree with me? Remember “Garbage Pail Kids” trading cards from the 1980’s? I used to have hundreds but now I only have a few left. I remember when they were banned from my elementary school because kids were too sensitive to name calling.

A new company has created another popular trading card called “Hollywood Zombies” that are selling like hot cakes. With a premise much like the “GPK” cards, the “Hollywood Zombies” use celebrities as their victims of satire. Check out the funny samples of these cards below:

Dude, these pictures really creep me out, big time. The Batman movies have become a force to wach out for. These pictures are genius, complete and utter genius folks. I am told these are fan pics that have been doctored, but who cares? At least we get to see what Heath will possibly look like in the new “Batman” movie coming out next summer.

Gone is the cutesy over the top Joker from the 60’s television show, and of course Jack Nickolson’s perfectly cast role too. Now we get the real joker, the one that haunts your dreams and lives in your nightmares. This will rock hard people, I cannot wait!
