Anthony Hopkin’s “Slipstream” Movie Trailer Looks Super Trippy!

Sir Anthony Hopkins directs and stars in this mind bending trippy sci-fi thriller that actually looks promising. Hopkins choices have been terrible in the last ten years; “Bad Company”, “Hannibal”, “The Human Stain”, “Alexander”, “Proof”, “All The Kings Men”, “Fracture” all tanked at the box office and received awful reviews.

“Slipstream” could pull Hopkins out of his slump and remind us why he was Knighted and given an Oscar in the first place. The tone and look of this film remind me of the mind bending “Donnie Darko” (which is one of my all time favorite films). Watch the “Slipstream” trailer below:

    This film looks really intriguing (though a bit confusing) but I hope that Sir Hopkins makes a better connection in the film’s entirety. He seems lost and confused in every scene of the trailer, where his mouth hangs slightly open …
