Anderson Cooper “Outed”
I am usually not a big fan of “outing” celebrities, there is something that gives it a feeling of a witch hunt that is kind of creepy. But then I struggle with the frustration of being an out gay man and not having those role models in the media that are just as proud. It has been rumored for years that Tom Cruise, John Travolta, Jodie Foster and Anderson Cooper are the most powerful gay people in Hollywood. All joking aside, they are right.
Anderson Cooper has become the golden boy of news programming, a voice that people feel is trust worthy. He is the left wing “conservative” voice of the liberal news channel CNN, and in my opinion he delivers the news with class and style. So he must be gay, right? Well, the truth is out, and yes he is gay.
But did “OUT Magazine” have the right to mention him specifically in an article labeled “Hollywood’s Glass Closet” this last month? I am torn on this subject, part of me is glad and the other feels sorry for him that he wasn’t allowed to make the decision on his own and at his own pace. I am sure this topic will stir up some controversy with someone. Check out the cover of “OUT Magazine” below:

That’s bold. Since I’m not a gay man, I don’t know if I could say I even know what it’s like to have something revealed about you FOR you. But - it just seams wrong to me, I guess - to be outed like that. I almost think, “SHAME ON THEM.”
But - who knows.
And also - I’m totally out of the loop because I don’t think I’ve ever even heard the Jodi Foster rumors.

I am sad to see a magazine rob people of their rights. How dare they share information bout anyone without their consent. I think that the media has gone way too far to ensrue that they make money…..dirty money…scandalous money….based on violating other’s rights.
I hope no one buys that magazine ever agan and show the media what can happen when they start violating people’s rights…….dont you think the US has enough bad publicity already? Why add to your corrupt and selffish, money grubbing list?
